Infection by Scott Sigler
The third book from the podcast novel machine that is Scott Sigler! We’re stoked, thrilled and generally swooning with glee to announce that Infection is now available on Podiobooks.com:
Perry Dawsey is 6-foot-5, 265 pounds of angry ex-linebacker. He knows all too well that if he doesn’t control his quick temper, people get hurt. Through constant focus, he has locked his violent past away in the deep dungeons of his mind.
The infection changes everything.
Strange, microscopic parasites tap into Perry’s bloodstream like tiny little vampires. They start as bright orange blisters, but soon take the shape of triangular growths just beneath his skin. The “Triangles,” as Perry calls them, try to control their host by manipulating hormone levels and flooding his body with neurotransmitters – imbalances of which cause paranoia, schizophrenia and excessive aggression.
As Perry begins a desperate battle to cut the Triangles out of his body before it’s too late, his self-control dissolves into raging, murderous madness.

Another great novel brought to you by the sick and twisted mind of the gentleman who posted above. Thanks for all of your work Sigler.

Very cool. Infection is a great story. I can’t believe that it is just now getting onto Podiobooks.com. Is there anything different from the podcast version?

I went looking for Infection last weekend and found out it wasn’t available on Podiobooks, so I went to the podshow site to get this great book.
I like it much better if I can keep all my podiobook subscriptions in one place.
Because I was getting the audio from a different place, I had thought, at first, that the whispers were imperfections or corruptions in the audio files – boy was I wrong. I was driving when they started…. I was so freaked, I had to pull over and get a grip.
Scott – You Rock!
