Listen to The Love Book, create a mix, win a Bozo.
Now that all of the episodes from Ken Wohlrob’s new short story collection The Love Book are live, he thought it would be great to celebrate with a little contest where people create soundtracks for the stories.
This is your chance to win an authentic Bozo the Clown bop doll. You know, just like the one you had as a kid. Hit the bastard as hard as you can and he keeps bouncing right back up.
To win said Bozo, all you have to do is listen to one of the stories from The Love Book and create a mix of songs for it. All of the stories in the book were written with certain songs running through Ken’s head. The order of the pieces in the collection are even arranged to have the flow of a great album. So what better way to get into the spirit of the book than letting you all create ‘soundtracks’ for the stories.
You can either e-mail the list to Ken at biffsatan @ kenwohlrob dotcom or better yet, post it as an iMix in iTunes (and forward a link to Ken).
More details on the contest from Ken’s website. Have fun and good luck!

That sounds more like a Shoo to me. I forget which Sunday comic they came from, but it was definitely a Shmoo . My brother and sisters liked it as much as I did, actually Mom liked it too. She took out her frustrations on it – and us kids gave plenty of reasons.

It’s funny… not a lot of people remember the Shmoo cartoon from the 70s. My cat is actually named after that weird little white glop. Everyone loved those bop dolls. I’ve always been an advocate for a Ghandi bop doll.
