Odd Jobs – A Comic Novel
Please welcome Karl Meade and his debut podcast novel, Odd Jobs – A Comic Novel:
Odd Jobs is a comic caper love story about Mountie women and layabout men, house and family, script-writers and cat-burglars. A modern tale of movie magic in the wrong hands: the Big Lebowski meets Elmore Leonard’s niece.

This podiobook is fantastic, but there hasn’t been a new chapter in over a month. We’ve just been left hanging!

Love it, but I wish the author was more consistent. We’ve been waiting for the finall episode for a month!

My apologies, gents! I’ve been waylaid by my day-job, and have just finished recording the last chapter – Chapter 17. I hope to have it edited and uploaded late this week or early next week… (by June 9)
I’m glad you’re enjoying it. Sorry for the delay…

Odd Jobs is a very intriguing and different book. I was hooked by the second chapter. Now with only 3 chapters to go I have no idea what kind of twists Karl will throw at our hero by the end. I would definitely recommend and look for more works by Karl Meade.
The production is excellent. I’d like to know about the music used in the bumpers.

James, thanks for your interest and comments. The music is by Big Bang Theory, a band that played in Calgary in the late 80′s early 90′s. You can learn more about them on my website karlmeade.com. You can email me there admin@karlmeade.com and I can point you to more of their music, if you like.

I off-loaded this book from iTunes as a trial. We listened to it while driving. Delightful sense of humor. Enjoyed the stumbling through life. Will listen to more of this author’s work. Pleased to have made a donation even though it is free from iTunes.
