A Foolish World: Two Erotic Novellas

Adding to our growing (heh) adults-only section is A Foolish World: Two Erotic Novellas by Ann Regentin:

In a world that expects perfection and settles for nothing less, a young man plays in the ruins of a broken marriage, and a man with a broken body woos a woman with a broken heart.

Author Ann Regentin has written everything from reading comprehension tests to poetry and music, but seems to have found her real niche somewhere in the gutter. As of now, she’s still too happy there to climb out.

Producer Nobilis and his wife Dee have been producing the “Nobilis Erotica” podcast for over a year. He and his wife Dee lend their voices and technical skills to this production.

Just finished listening to the first of the two novellas and thought it was done very tastefully. I also liked how the same story was told through the eyes of each character. From each viewpoint I really felt what the characters were feeling and why they did the things they did.

The recording quality is just OK. Throughout the episodes I can hear one person, breathing into the mic which is a little annoying if you focus on it, but really isn’t too distracting.

Finished the second story and it was amazing. The audio was much better and the characters were so moving.

I have never really thought about audio books as I’m a reading fan but now you mention it, I can see the attraction. Where can I get audio books from? I buy my ebooks from Adult eBook Shop but they don’t sell audio books. Although they do have free ebooks to download. [Moderated by Evo to make it less spammy...]

Chris, thank you for your comments. Yes, the first book of the two has some low breathing noises.

Anonymous, I’m working on another erotic audiobook for this site, also written by Ann Regentin, but these things take time. You can find shorter erotic audio fiction on my own site, http://nobilis.libsyn.com.

Hi Ann and Nobilis – I liked these both, but especially Measure. The writing was so spare, nothing extraneous and yet very powerful. Talk about showing both sides of the communication coin! Thanks for presenting in ths format.
