Spiral
Never finished. Been a few years. Deleting.
Andy Remic blasts his way on the site, releasing his printed novel Spiral as a free serialized audiobook:
In a future where nuclear warheads can be hidden in a briefcase… In a world where designer plagues are held suspended in a teardrop… Prepare for chaos.
Where conventional armies are powerless to defend against a single assassin, the secret organisation known as SPIRAL exists to fight a shadow war against fanatics and rogue states of every faith and political persuasion.
Remorseless, unstoppable, of every country and of none, SPIRAL agents conduct their covert operations throughout the world in a never-ending battle for civilisation’s survival.
But now SPIRAL itself is under attack, and if SPIRAL falls the world falls with it…
The first six episodes are in the default feed for those who want episodes on Andy’s schedule. Or you can get a custom feed and get episodes delivered when you want them.

Hi there,
Any feedback on this, my first podcast book, is very much appreciated and listened to. Many thanks, and I hope somebody out there (you know who you are!!) enjoys listening. I certainly enjoyed recording it!

Just finished chapter two, interesting so far; look forward to the next chapter.
Could use a little more background information on the organization Spiral and the current status of world affairs at this point.

Just finished listening to the prologue. And I was MIGHTILY impressed. Intelligently written, great use of dialogue, very poetic/creative descriptions, thrilling and captivating atmosphere established…andt music/sound effects are brilliant. They really add to the drama. The Missing are gifted.
The only thing I could nitpick was that it was perhaps a touch TOO fast-paced. If it was slower I could digest it better. Regardless, you read so confidently and give this story the brillian narrative it deserves. I look forward to reading the rest of Spiral.
Nice one Andy. Keep it up, mate.

Hi, Andy. When I was on holiday last week, I actually saw a copy of Spiral for sale, and because I was listening to it on my iPod, i decided to buy the book and read and listen at the same time. Looking forward to finishing the story. When are you going to put more chapters up?

Hi Andy, I DO like what you’re writing but I’m finding the continuous background music somewhat distracting. It makes it just a bit difficult to focus on the action. I’ll give it another go in a week or so…

Hi Andy,
I’m really enjoying the book and plan on going out and picking up a couple of your books this weekend. From a listener point of view, the background music is quite distracting. Perhaps lowering the volume would help if you don’t want to remove it completely. Thanks for taking the time to read your work!

While Andy may be a good author, he is also the king of PodFade. He has left us hanging with two unfinished books. If you like to finsih the stroy (like I do), subscribing to this book is probably not for you.
