Two weeks after the release of Colors of Fate Chapter 24, Andrew Webbur and the gang return in book two of the The Chameleon Chronicles: Prisoner of Time.

Andrew Webbur and his friends must serve their Saturday detention the day after the big homecoming dance. Intent on finding Brian’s parents, Andrew and Brian must sneak out of school without Mr. Spieker discovering their absence. The Chameleon discovers more than he bargained for when he finds a hidden island full of powerful Izmite terrorists.

Jodi Webbur’s powers began failing, when reality begins crumbling around her and she can’t decipher if she is living in the past, present, or future.

Jim Jones Brawn unleashes the second phase of his plan to destroy Andrew by releasing his newest weapon against the Chameleon. Striking from the shadows, this new menace seems intent on destroying Andrew and his friends. Who is this new threat that frightens even Landru Brawn?

Follows is a note from the author, Andrew Leiter, that those following along as he releases episodes might enjoy:

As many of you have undoubtedly noticed, I switched the release schedule of The Chameleon Chronicles to bi-weekly toward the end of Colors of Fate. This has worked out great for production because it allows me time to podcast and write book three of the series. Expect new episodes of The Chameleon Chronicles on the first and third Tuesday of every month. (That may not be the exact schedule we adhere to on Podiobooks.com, but we’ll try and make it close! – Evo)

In addition, I have also revamped the official website and added a free member’s area. The member’s area has access to free ebook chapter downloads. The Chameleon Chronicles: Colors of Fate is completely posted with all twenty four chapters. As each new podcast episode is released, the ebook chapter will also be released in the member’s area. Also, the member’s area features a Meet the Cast area, where you can read more about each character in the Chameleon Chronicles series.

Finally, if you sign up for the member’s area you will automatically be entered in a drawing to win a $25 gift card from Best Buy, Amazon.com, iTunes, or Blockbuster. The winner will be announced December 31, 2008.
