The most entertaining horror podcast on the internet. The audio quality is superb as is the narration, and the stories are a great mix of horror and comedy. Also check out One Among the Sleepless, it is mind-blowingly good.

Mike Bennett serves up the ghastliest and most horrific details with gleeful abandon. Both Hall of Mirrors Volumes 1 and 2 will have you laughing, cringing, shrieking and gagging, usually within minutes of each other in the same story. Not only is he a talented writer, he has a fantastic ear for accents and character and his podcasts are very entertaining.

Don’t deny yourself the experience of listening to all things Bennett. His writing will not only make you more intelligent and subtle, but weirder as well… Is something burning in here?

Hall of Mirrors is what got me hooked on podcasts. Salvation is my favorite of Mike’s short stories, and One Among the Sleepless is fantastic.
What makes Mike’s stories so great is that his performance is equally as good as the writing. He has done readings of some classic stories, and they how much of the appeal is in his vocal performance.

This really is a fantastic piece of writing. Mike Bennett really is a masterful story teller. It is rare that I have no criticism of an author but this really is excpetional stuff. It is unfortunate that there aren’t more works by Mike Bennett but, if you have not read or listened to the original hall of mirrors, and ‘One amoung the Sleepless’ then I suggest you do.
This guy is not just good, he is truly gifted. It is not just his sense of humour but the way humour is brought to life in his writing, not just his style, understanding and creation of text but his manipulation of words to form true literary works of art. Cringe, laugh, wince, smile, marvel… a plethora of emotion as Bennett takes you into a world of fantasy you will not want to leave when his stories grip you.
A must in my opinion.

Mike Bennett has what few writers possess a great voice and a great mind. The stories are amazing and are preformed flawlessly by him. Keep up the great work man. Love your refrigerator!

This guy is not only a truly great writer, but he has the most uncanny ear for dialogue and conversation that I’ve ever seen anywhere by anyone.
A true gift for observing the nuances of different characters and making them come alive and breathe.
And the imagery…wow..prepare to go to the end of the pier and never come back quite the same..
Very dark sometimes here…these stories will get under your skin. Sometimes make you grimace.
But the sharp wit will throw you a life raft..
The best narration that I’ve ever heard. Mike Bennett raises the bar again and again.
Rock on, Mike!!

Just started listening to Podiobooks, thanks to Mr. Sigler. Mike Bennett is so truly talented, I’m almost worried he will get the recognition he deserves. Then maybe, he will stop doing what he does. Not only is he an amazing writer, but the performance is both impressive and strangely chilling at the same time. If you like horror with dark, dry humor, this is your guy!!!
