Is Podiobooks.com your literature lifeline?

Just when I think I’ve got everyone listening to Podiobooks.com figured out, I get little surprises like this:

I’m usually a library book reader and not a book buyer. That is unless it is at a second hand book sale. I would go broke because I really can’t help myself from owning books. However, because of a medical condition I can’t hold a book for the amount of time I would like to anymore. Podiobooks.com has become my literature lifeline. I can’t find the types of books on audio that I like to read at the library. It fulfills a need and a desire.

That’s from Nyssa Storm, constant listener and frequent donor to the cause of serialized audiobooks. The emphasis is mine. There are many needs and desire. I’m glad we can help fulfill many.

And hold tight, Nyssa. We’ve got some changes coming which may fill a niche or two left open today.

Nyssa, my hat’s off to you. Evo, thank you for sharing this. Literature really is difficult for me to make time for these days… but the stories in the 10 minute commute and 5 minute walk help keep me sane!

Yes, this website is my lifeline as I am not able to get to a library and don’t but that may books. I appreciate listening to these stories that I would never have heard of before, they are really great.

Thanks alot, you are doing a great thing.

    I recognize that experience.
I walk the dog and get the boy from daycare – because of podcasts and podiobooks, those daily tasks stand for about half my literature and news consumption.
