Quilt, Book and Bard
Welcome Bryna Chalmer to the site. She’s beginning the release of the serialized audiobook version of her novel, Quilt, Book and Bard:
For years the picture of the man with the oxcart has hung on the wall of her Aunt and Uncle’s house. It never occurred to Tory that one day she might actually find herself in the picture. She frees Neal, an imp who has been imprisoned in Castle Hildegard for two hundred years. Together, they journey through the world of the Kingdom Trees, racing to break the spell that has bound the world together – in war.
King Delphic is bent on taking the spell for himself, and becoming monarch of all. Tory and Neal find help among the Bards and the Cloud Jumpers, along with some who are not as trustworthy as they seem. The World Tree is not the universe of Good and Evil; it’s leaves are shades of gray.
Check out a tale where no fairies are hurt, but everything else is up for grabs.

I am only part of the way through but I really enjoy this book! The story itself is great, the narration is good and the music is wonderful!

An enjoyable story. Many interesting characters. The reading is well done. The music is charming – it complements the story beautifully. I’m looking forward to listening to the rest of this tale. Thank you for such delightful entertainment!

The characters were well developed and the podcasts were well designed. There are a lot of characters to follow so you’ve really got to focus on the story, but it is paced fast enough that that isn’t a problem.
The only criticism I have is with the music mixed into the episodes. Sometimes the clips were just a little too long and too frequent so were a little distracting.

I agree the music was a little too long. The first few episodes had me wondering if I had missed a chapter or two, but the story resolved itself into a good listen. Thanks for the BS&T.
