HarperCollins stikes deal with one of the first five podcast novelists
Great news from Mark Jeffery today: HarperCollins has purchased the print rights to Max Quick 1: The Pocket and the Pendant. The book won’t come out in print until spring of 2011, giving you some time to…

… nab the current print-versions. These won’t be available for long, so get to it! Will they one day be a collectors item?
… listen to the free serialized version. It’s not going anywhere, but it will be interesting to see how much gets changed in the editing process.
… tell all your friends! Mark is one more success story and showcases that good things can and do come from embracing the new world of free.
The Pocket and the Pendant was one of the first five books released on Podiobooks.com. It’s very nice to see a deal come his way. And check out the follow-on book, Max Quick 2: The Two Travelers. It’s also available as a free serialized audiobook..

I was so happy to check the feed and see this out here. I’ve loved the series and think it’s about time that others can now enjoy the book and add it to their bookcases. Congratulations.

THANKS everyone for the props & congrats … very appreciated. Obviously I’m pretty excited about this and the good news is I’ll be able to double down on the quality of the work with ‘real editors’ helping me — and down the road, I hope to write a LOT more Max Quick stuff, we’re just getting started …
