What more is there to say? This book is fantastic. Reading the synopsis you’d think “nah a story about an old woman isn’t my cup of tea”, but after listening to the first episode my ears have been glued to the story. Maybe its Nathan’s writing skills, maybe its his storytelling, maybe its his voice, but whatever it is the guys got it in spades. I didnt think he could improve on his “…. Share” stories, but this one is just as good. I want more!

My first appreciations of Mr. Lowell’s work also came by way of his very fine “Solar Clipper – Share” series, and although Ravenwood takes a slightly new direction, genre-wise, I have enjoyed it most thoroughly. I recommend it to listeners who take can take pleasure in how the little actions and events of life can weave themselves into the strong fabric of good story.

Can’t wait for the “yet”. I finished it today at work and was mourning the loss of the world and the characters the minute the story ended. Nathan you are a one of a kind wordsmith and storyteller!

The thing I dislike most about all of Nathans books is that, eventually, they come to an end. I get so caught up in the worlds he’s created I don’t want to leave.
I just finished Ravenwood a couple days ago, listening to the whole thing over 2 days and I was just as captivated and entertained with it as I have been with every other Nathan Lowell story I’ve listened to (all of them).
Podiobooks has an abundance of excellent stories and story tellers and Nathan keeps coming out on the top of my favorites list and each new work is better than the previous.

Terrific book! It left me sleepless for several nights because I just couldn’t shut off the MP3 player. I love the character of Tanyth and her new village. This is one that I’ll definitely listen to again and again. Please, please write more of her!

  9. Nathan Says:

    Thanks! I plan to :)

Just not immediately because I’ve got some other projects in the way
