This was a well written and well narrated fantasy story.
I’m not a huge fan of fantasy, I tend to think that most fantasy stories are too formulaic for my liking, but this one will be sure to entertain fans of fantasy. It has all the basics makings of a good fantasy tale. A group of travelers embarking on a quest, elves versus goblins, dwarves thrown in for good measure, a few epic battles and even some dragons and magic.
Really though my beef is with fantasy novels in general not this one, because the characters were well developed here and I did listen to the whole thing in less than a week. I’m sure if you like fantasy you’ll like this story.

Well, I love fantasy and as a result I like reading, watching, and listening to anything original in this genera; however, when creating a world i like it to be original one of a kind, weird, marvelous, amazing, wondrous, people creature and language are important, at least to me. Now here is what I did not like, the use of modern language “cool”, “genetics” and so forth. It is my personal belief that in fantasy and original worlds created by people the idea is to takes away from the mundane, from the real world, so these things bother me… even thou I would still listen, read and or watch a story… it would no longer have that magic of being swept away and drawn in to the fantasy world.
