Now releasing Compensating Controls by James Keeling
Please welcome James Keeling to the site. Fans of Scott Sigler will know his name, but you may not yet know his work. That changes with Compensating Controls:
Nicholas Edgwood rides a wave of good karma–a job he excels at, a new girlfriend, and a bright future. When he gets framed for a cyber-crime he did not commit, he must run for his life while his entire world crumbles around him.
Betrayal and murder replace peace and hope as he finds himself in unfamiliar territory. He may not be the biggest and baddest guy out there, but he has skills, the kind garnered from a career steeped in computers and code. Now he must leverage these skills to their fullest to stay above ground and breathing. It will take all of his talent, and courage he may not have, just to survive.

Great thriller, I can’t wait for the next chapters to be released. I was so into the book when that when I went through the first five chapters I didn’t know where to turn for a replacement that was so exciting. Check this one out you won’t be disappointed!

I also like the first 5-ish episodes but something has changed in the writing style lately. Can’t put my finger on it but the last 2 or 3 (I just listened to 9) are less consistent to my ears. Hopefully gets back to original for!

Great to hear it! Plan is to release episodes each week. The full audio is just about finished on my website with the podiobooks feed a little behind it. So all episodes are done. Thanks for listening.

I’ve listened to the first couple, and so far it is very heavy on the irrelevant detail – needs to be edited down by at least 25% if not more.
Based on the enthusiasm I’m seeing above, I’ll persevere for a couple more episodes, but so far I’m not thrilled.
