New and complete: ONE WAY by Jeff Lane
Barry Griffith doesn’t know it yet, but tonight is the night fate has chosen to be the night of his death… his murder.
At a gas station in the middle of nowhere, late at night, his wife Jenny appears… no car… no coat and looking older than when he saw her last. That’s because this is not the woman he received a good-bye kiss from this morning. This woman has been a widow for over four years and has made an impossible journey back in time to try to stop her husband’s murder.
Will they be able to escape the killers or does fate only have one plan… one possible outcome… ONE WAY?

I enjoyed this book. Well paced and with enough twists and turns to be entertaining. It’s well worth a listen.

This is my first book I’ve been able to listen to on my computer. This is such a wonderful way of relaxing, and having it be the Author that reads it to you is even better! A great story-line… keeps you anxiously awaiting the next Chapter! I have found my new way to actually have the “time” to read! Thank you so much for this book!

Jeff Lane has crafted a story that has been told dozens of times before, but in a new way. Out are the time machines, mad doctors (well, there are some in One Way), and Marty McFly. In are some serious thought provoking theories on the possibilities of time travel and the consequences it may have for the lives of those effected.

I like the story and the characters a lot. A familiar trope but it works for me. My one small observation is that the language tone is inconsistent. It floats between formal and informal, higher and lower tones. And maybe it’s me but the changes catch me off-guard; I don’t see the motivation from the events of the story. Keep it up!

Hi Jeff,
As a fan of sci-fi thrillers like LOST and Stephen King, your story absolutely resonates a chord within me! Very well written, and had me at the edge of my seat. Keep up the good work and looking forward to more in the future!
